Brandon and his kids

The memorial

2 years ago my cousin, Brandon Kimber, died in the Crandall Canyon Mine accident.
Brandon was a crew cheif of the rescue team on August 16th. When the walls of the mine imploded, one of his rescue team was struck with a large peice of rock; Brandon immediately threw himself across the injured man. The two of them were then buried under five feet of coal. Other rescue crew members began digging them out with whatever they had at hand, many dug with their hard hats. The fellow rescuer--- that Brandon protected--- lived.
Brandon was a Hero.
RIP Brandon. We love you!!!

My Family
(This part broke my heart. One of his little boys kept asking why his Daddy was down there. Everyone just sat and cried. He was such a great Daddy.)
